Dining Services Supervisor

About the Role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor with a strong culinary background to oversee all aspects of Senior Living dining services at Park Place of West Knoxville. This role includes purchasing and inventory management, staffing, training, customer service, and operating the department within a stipulated budget. The Dining Services Supervisor will handle administrative and managerial tasks such as hiring and training kitchen staff, ensuring resident satisfaction with the end product, and maintaining financial accountability for the dining services department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of dining services in a Senior Living community
• Manage purchasing and inventory
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff and other employees
• Ensure resident satisfaction with dining services
• Operate the department within budget and maintain financial accountability
• Comply with state food safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality, with a course of study in food service or restaurant management (highly preferred)
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting (required)
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations
• Passion for working with seniors
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
