Digital & Social Media Marketing Specialist (Onsite, Fulltime)
About the Role
Our client, a high-end furniture manufacturer, is looking to hire a fulltime Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist in Chicago. Role is onsite. The overall function of this position is to widely cover the US, Canada, Central/South American teams digital marketing activity (i.e. social media/E-blast etc.), including creating/editing marketing materials.
If candidate has experience in advertising/public relations, press activity, sales support, marketing/market research & analytical work, that is a huge plus; however, there are high level strategies that will be in place as well as a PR firm for this person to liaise with. The ideal candidate should have a wide range of marketing skills, sufficient market research and writing skills, and the ability to work as a team player as well as an excellent player independently in very diverse culture environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning, creating, organizing, and updating marketing related work, including marketing research, analyzing data, price lists, product booklets, brochures, E-blasts, SNS account management
- Prepare for training materials, press releases, signage, graphics etc.
- PR work. Create and foster relationship between relative media, especially interior design magazine editors. Keep them updated for publication.
- Prepare and coordinate press releases, product news, media updates, and publication opportunities.
- Cooperate with HQ marketing team in development of advertisements, brochures, spec guides, websites, user manuals, installation guides etc.
- Support the creation and editing of PowerPoint presentations for sales projects, product training, A&D presentations, client education, dealer meetings, and internal meetings.
- Manage and maintain marketing material and brochures in the showroom.
- Work as team for industry trade show and event preparation and operation.
- Taking initiative in supporting co-workers' activity when necessary
- Providing ideas to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and cost saving of the company's US business
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Experience And Skills
- Marketing experience in corporate offices for at least 3 years or more (Experience with finished products is preferred)
- Digital Marketing deep knowledge (Major in college) or experience
- Instagram/LinkedIn/Facebook etc.
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Google Workspace (Google Docs, Spreadsheet, Forms)
- E-blast program: Salesforce/client engagement
- Work experience in a multicultural office environment
- Need high adaptability, active listening, and empathy
