About the role
The Digital Marketing Specialist at SofterWare plays a vital role in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the execution, management, and optimization of paid digital advertising campaigns. This position involves managing day-to-day paid media operations across multiple platforms including search engines, social media, and external advertising partners. The specialist collaborates closely with the Digital Marketing & SEO Manager and Senior Digital Growth & Analytics Manager to analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance campaign effectiveness. The role requires a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure campaigns are optimized for maximum ROI while maintaining accurate tracking and organized processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and major social advertising platforms
- Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Meta Ads Manager
- Working knowledge of GA4 and digital campaign measurement tools
- Strong understanding of UTM tracking, tagging standards, and campaign attribution
- Experience with Pardot and Salesforce is preferred
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools for campaign reporting, analysis, and budget management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including keyword strategy, bidding, ad copy, and budget pacing
- Conduct ongoing A/B testing of ad copy and landing pages to improve click-through and conversion rates
- Monitor daily campaign health, flag anomalies, adjust bids, and resolve disapprovals or tracking issues
- Maintain organized campaign architecture and consistent naming conventions across accounts
- Develop and manage paid social campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and other relevant platforms
- Utilize CRM data and target account lists from Salesforce to develop audiences and engage prospects
- Upload and implement campaign assets, ensuring compliance with creative specifications and tracking parameters
- Track campaign pacing, reach, frequency, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed
- Coordinate the delivery of advertising assets for industry publications and external media placements
- Manage tracking, submission deadlines, and verify that placements are live and properly tracked
- Maintain an organized asset library and delivery logs for external advertising efforts
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPL, and conversions
- Use Salesforce and campaign data to evaluate contribution to pipeline development and revenue
- Identify optimization opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations for campaign improvements
- Ensure accurate attribution and tracking of paid media traffic to Pardot forms, Salesforce campaigns, and related systems
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to verify lead routing and reporting processes, resolving attribution gaps or tracking issues
- Execute campaign strategies as established by senior marketing team members
- Share insights, performance data, and recommendations to improve ongoing campaigns and workflows
- Stay updated on advertising platform changes, algorithm updates, and industry best practices
