About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager serves as a strategic leader within Reusser’s marketing department, helping guide both client success and internal team performance. This role combines digital marketing strategy, client leadership, planning and operations, team management, and performance accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Leading strategy discussions and client planning sessions
  • Building annual marketing plans and quarterly roadmaps
  • Creating multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Developing campaign and channel-level strategies
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation
  • Ensuring marketing initiatives align with measurable business outcomes
  • Serving as a lead strategist and trusted advisor for client accounts
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Leading meetings and presenting strategies with confidence
  • Providing clear recommendations and guidance
  • Communicating campaign performance and next steps
  • Helping clients prioritize marketing investments and initiatives
  • Maintaining a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and ownership
  • Improving operational excellence within the marketing department
  • Building and maintaining annual plans, quarterly plans, and campaign roadmaps
  • Coordinating strategy documentation and planning deliverables
  • Working closely with the Delivery team to operationalize tactical plans
  • Prioritizing workloads and initiatives across accounts
  • Ensuring strategic plans move efficiently into execution
  • Supporting process improvements and operational consistency
  • Acting as a strategic leader and key partner within the marketing department
  • Guiding marketing strategies and helping elevate the tactical work of the broader team
  • Driving project accountability by keeping teams aligned on expectations
  • Ensuring overall campaign quality and strategic alignment across all marketing initiatives
  • Supporting healthy, seamless collaboration and communication across all departments
  • Contributing to and guiding content strategy efforts across multiple channels
  • Website messaging and landing page strategy
  • Email marketing content
  • Blog and thought leadership planning
  • Campaign messaging and positioning
  • Organic social media strategy
  • Managing people, coaching team members, and providing performance feedback
  • Reviewing campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations
  • Communicating complex ideas clearly
  • Working collaboratively across departments and disciplines
  • Managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Having a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Building reporting dashboards and KPI frameworks
  • Leveraging AI tools and automation workflows within marketing operations
  • Collaborating with SEO, paid media, or performance marketing specialists in an agency environment
  • Familiarity with AI visibility, AEO, and emerging search/discovery trends
  • Photography, video production, or video editing experience for digital channels
  • Mentoring junior marketers or leading cross-functional teams
  • Measurable campaign or business impact
  • Client references from past clients who loved working with you
  • Employer references that are still recovering from your absence

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital strategy, or agency marketing environments
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including content marketing, websites, email marketing, social media, analytics, SEO fundamentals, AI visibility concepts, and performance marketing principles
  • Experience building annual marketing plans, campaign strategies, and multi-channel initiatives
  • Experience managing people, coaching team members, and providing performance feedback
  • Confident leading client meetings and presenting strategies
  • Strong organizational and project planning abilities
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Experience reviewing campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across departments and disciplines
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
