Digital Engagement Strategist III

About the role

One Federal Solution is seeking a Digital Engagement Strategist III to support digital engagement, communications, social media, content development, analytics, and strategic digital initiatives in support of organizational goals. The selected candidate will develop and execute digital engagement activities that inform, educate, and inspire audiences while strengthening the organization's presence across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Align all digital engagement activities with the organization's broader mission to inform, educate, and inspire.
• Create and share compelling, relevant, and educational content to foster a vibrant online community.
• Actively manage social media platforms including X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other emerging platforms as deemed necessary.
• Utilize data analytics to measure performance, understand audience behavior, and provide actionable insights to refine digital strategies.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase traffic to the organization's primary website and other digital properties.
• Elevate the organization's profile as a leader in science and technology.
• Support digital initiatives for national and international events.
• Write effectively for online applications.
• Travel as required in support of organizational events.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited institution in a related field (such as communications or journalism) and at least ten (10) years of experience as a communicator or writer supporting unique, specialized organizational goals.
• Thoroughly familiar and proficient in commercial software packages such as Adobe InDesign Suite.
• Proficient in Site Corp Content Management System or similar, Web Management software, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and metadata management.
• Working level knowledge of video streaming.
• Expert understanding and hands-on experience with account creation, manipulation, execution, and leading information and influencer campaigns on social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Flickr, and emerging digital/social media).
• Excellent professional writing and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated competence representing organizations in multimedia and face-to-face venues (print, broadcast, exhibits).
• Ability to convey meaningful messages related to scientific research, technology discovery, and invention that leads to transition to the acquisition community.
• Include a screenshot sample of previously published material from a past social media campaign with your resume.
