Digital Design Verification Engineer | Precision ADC

About the role

Join Texas Instruments' Precision ADC team as a Design Verification Engineer to contribute to the development of high-precision data converters trusted in medical, industrial, automotive, and instrumentation applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches to verify digital logic, calibration algorithms, and mixed-signal interfaces of signal chains involving high-resolution delta-sigma ADCs.
• Create constrained-random stimulus environments and write functional coverage models and assertions.
• Run regression campaigns and triage simulation failures in collaboration with the RTL and analog design teams.
• Participate in design and verification reviews, presenting findings and growing expertise in mixed-signal verification methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience in digital design or verification
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and hardware simulation
• Understanding of digital logic design fundamentals
• Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UVM-based testbench
• Constrained-random testing, functional coverage, and SVA
• EDA simulation tools (VCS, Xcelium, or Questa)
• Analog/mixed-signal concepts such as ADC architectures, noise, and sampling
• Scripting languages like Python or Perl for test automation
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Time management and initiative-taking abilities

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in digital design or verification
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and hardware simulation
• Understanding of digital logic design fundamentals
• Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach

Pay

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is $81,500 - $146,500 per year.
