Diesel Mechanic Technician - 3rd Shift

About the role

Seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, repairing, and documenting repairs
• Ensuring vehicles meet licensing and safety standards
• Performing road call services as needed
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
• Replacing parts
• Maintaining onboard systems with hand and power tools
• Communicating professionally with team members
• Keeping detailed records of work performed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in vehicle repair, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electronic diagnostics systems
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety standards
• Strong communication and documentation skills
