Diesel Mechanic Technician - 3rd Shift

About the Role

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units to ensure safety and compliance. Communicates professionally with team members, accurately documents work orders, and performs road call services when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, replace parts, and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and component lubrication.
• Ensure equipment is properly licensed, registered, and roadworthy.
• Install and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect critical systems like brakes and steering.
• Use hand and power tools effectively.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in medium/heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, brake systems, and refrigeration.
