About the role
This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Inspect brake systems, steering, and other critical components
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks
- Communicate professionally with team members and document all repairs accurately using the online management system
- Perform road call services as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
- Experience with diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration systems
Skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of vehicle systems
- Adherence to safety standards
