About the Role
We are seeking a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and converter dollies.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and ensure equipment compliance with regulations
- Conduct routine inspections (brakes, steering, wheel bearings, etc.)
- Diagnose basic failures and perform repairs
- Install onboard computers
- Perform routine maintenance using hand and power tools
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain repair documentation
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
Qualifications
- Diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- A/C refrigeration and brake systems repair
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with repair documentation
