About the role

As a Service Technician, you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use
• Report machine condition to Management
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment and tools, including checking oil, grease, fluids, and tagging equipment for rental-ready status
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Load and unload equipment while complying with DOT regulations for height, width, and weight
• Clean all tools and prepare new equipment for rent or sale
• Perform minor repairs including electrical, calibration, certification, and tagging of tools
• Provide assistance to higher-level technicians as needed
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment or relevant mechanical field (diesel, automotive, welding, HVAC, electrical, or specialty tools)
• Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to the position
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• For Electrical Technician roles: Must own tools applicable to the position and have a working knowledge of tools
• For Climate Solutions Tech: Willingness to be on an “on-call” rotation for 24/7 emergency service
