Diesel Auto Mechanic

Jerry Hunt Supercenter is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Diesel Technician who takes pride in quality repairs and wants a dealership that values their skills. Responsibilities

• Diagnose diesel engine concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake and electrical repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance
• Utilize factory scan tools and diagnostic software
• Document repair recommendations
• Test drive vehicles when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work closely with Service Advisors and fellow technicians

Requirements

• Diesel repair experience
• Ability to diagnose drivability concerns
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills
• Works efficiently while maintaining quality
• Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
• Enjoys working on a team
• Wants to continue learning

Pay

$28-$45/hour based on experience, skill level, and certifications; top technicians are rewarded for their performance.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday schedule with only one Saturday per month; climate‑controlled shop.
