About the role

The RN Charge Nurse oversees nursing services each shift, functioning as a nursing supervisor. They provide daily supervision of staff and assist with clinical and operational processes to enhance patient health and reduce hospitalizations.

Responsibilities

• Document medication profiles and administer medications
• Support physician rounds and implement protocols such as anemia management
• Deliver direct patient care by performing safe dialysis within legal limits
• Respond to emergencies promptly
• Communicate patient assessment results to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians and participate in care planning
• Assist with staff orientation and act as a resource for dialysis services
• Support policy updates
• Hire, evaluate, and manage disciplinary actions for staff
• Ensure efficient operations and quality care
