About the role

The RN Charge Nurse oversees nursing services and functions as a nursing supervisor during each shift, providing daily supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and operational processes to enhance patient outcomes.
• Manage supplies and staff labor efficiently.
• Document medication profiles and administer medications as prescribed.
• Support physician rounds, transcribe orders, and implement protocols for anemia management and medication.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate patient assessments to the healthcare team.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with Medical Directors and physicians.
• Participate in patient care planning and assist with staff orientation and evaluation.
• Act as a resource for dialysis services.
• Update policies and support staff hiring and disciplinary processes.
