About the role
Under the direction of Radiology leadership, coordinates the daily operations of the MRI department and its affiliates. As a working supervisor, will be responsible for complying with the Supervisor Expectations and maintaining expert technical skills. Collaborates with Radiology leadership to ensure maintained compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and protocols. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of Rose Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to assigned patients and assures a safe care environment
- Manage supplies/inventory, productivity, and key operations to achieve budgetary targets
- Collaborate in the decision-making structure and processes with the Radiology leadership team and assists in projects, financial, and growth planning
- Supervise and train employees, provide employee education, maintain employee competency-based performance, perform annual reviews, maintain current employee files, and monitor attendance/staffing of the department
- Provide and maintain age specific exam competencies and protocols for patients with various clinical conditions and age ranges
- Assist in the implementation and documentation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess, and improve performance outcomes for both patient and physician satisfaction, and employee engagement
- Enter the call rotation, to include weekends and holidays, is accessible to staff on all shifts, and will provide required coverage as it arises
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Radiology leadership
- Adhere to the Rose iCARE Standards at all times
Qualifications
License/Certification/Registration: Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required. Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Education: Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
Experience: 5 years of MRI experience preferred, 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
Skills
- Must be familiar with all MRI exams/procedures with a high degree of critical thinking skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care
- Must be capable of applying technical skills to all age patients

Pay
Hourly wage range: $37.45 - $56.19 per hour. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. Actual salary may include factors such as specific skills and years of experience.
