Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary: This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Aurora. Under the direction of the director, coordinates all clinical responsibilities for designated modalities. The manager will also assist the director with quality control and patient experience derivatives. The manager will represent Radiology in committees and meetings for inter-departmental relations with all other ancillary and clinical departments. Responsible for personnel management, monthly audits, revenue reconciliation, and annual reviews. Collaborates in decision-making structure and processes. Assists leadership in long term planning and all aspects of financial performance. Assist in the implementation and documentation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess and improve performance. Ensures adequate staff and resources to provide for a safe, high quality operation of the department. Collaborates with leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and hospital policies. Manages productivity and operations to achieve budgetary targets. Must be willing to assume twenty-four hour responsibility for patient care and a leadership role with the health care team in planning and delivering patient care. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by the director.

Requirements

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current certification by ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS or NMTCB preferred. Current BLS required from AHA or ARC.
  • Education: Associates Degree required.
  • Experience: 3 years healthcare experience required. Prefer 5 years recent hospital or radiology supervisory experience.
