Diagnostic Imaging Manager
Job Summary
In collaboration with assigned director, manages the day-to-day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department which may include; General Radiology, Computer Tomography (CT), Mammography, Angiography, MRI, Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine and PET. Ensures prescribed services are rendered in a manner consistent with established standards, policy, procedures and regulatory requirements. Supports departmental, hospital and system initiatives. Serves as a representative for Diagnostic Imaging on various hospital committees, meetings, task forces, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in clinical healthcare discipline, or Bachelors degree in Science or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified/registered in at least one of the following modalities: General Radiology (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB), Ultrasound (ARDMS), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience in the field of Diagnostic Imaging including experience in a leadership role.
