About the role
CommuniCare+OLE was established in 2023, combining two health centers with a long-standing commitment to providing quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Located in Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties, it offers comprehensive care including medical, dental, behavioral health, substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to over 70,000 individuals.
Responsibilities
- Draft, customize, and coordinate donor acknowledgments, thank-you letters, appeals, and impact communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and personalized outreach across all giving levels.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date donors, gifts, and communication records within the CRM, documenting donor touchpoints and ensuring compliance with internal data standards and best practices.
- Implement donor recognition processes, including tracking recognition commitments, coordinating acknowledgments, and ensuring consistency across print, digital, and event-based recognition.
- Cook up follow-up communications after gifts, meetings, events, and campaigns to ensure strong donor stewardship and continuity.
- Provide administrative and project support for annual fundraising campaigns, including Year-End Appeals and targeted giving initiatives.
- Build and manage donor segmentation lists for appeals and outreach, ensuring accurate targeting based on giving history, engagement, and interests.
- Monitor donor response rates and giving activity, identifying opportunities for renewals, upgrades, and re-engagement.
- Support the preparation of campaign calendars, content schedules, and internal tracking tools.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising and donor engagement events, including registration, RSVPs, guest lists, seating, vendor communication, timelines, and post-event follow-up.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, bringing a proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach to all responsibilities.
- Communicate with donors, colleagues, and community partners with professionalism, and sound judgment, while maintaining confidentiality in all donor-related and financial matters.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience/Lived Experience: At least 3+years of professional experience in nonprofit development, administrative support, or high-touch philanthropic and/or hospitality customer service environments.
- Special Skills/Training: Prior experience in fundraising, development or nonprofit work required. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, donor-centered messaging. High commitment to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor CRM/database systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort engaging high-net-worth donors, volunteers, and cross-functional internal partners. Creativity, adaptability, and desire to grow professionally with in nonprofit fundraising.
