About the role

This role works on enabling the next generation of agentic development in the cloud, making AWS where developers and their agents love to build. You will build with agents across AWS services, find the friction, and turn what you learn into content, guidance, and feedback that makes the experience better.

Responsibilities

  • Build with agents across AWS services, find the friction, and turn what you learn into content, guidance, and feedback that makes the experience better.
  • Partner with service teams to advocate for changes and produce the technical resources developers and their agents rely on.
  • Document what works, what breaks, and what's missing, turning those findings into blog posts, sample code, tutorials, and feedback to product teams.
  • Collaborate with other developer advocates and engineers across the org to raise the bar on agentic content and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or experience in software development.
  • Experience writing for developer and technical audiences: blog, product documentation, technical information.
  • 4+ years of software development experience building production applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real development workflows.
  • Strong programming skills in multiple languages, with particular depth in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Experience building developer tools, CLI applications, IDE extensions, or workflow automation.
  • Track record of high-impact technical video content with demonstrated developer reach.
  • Speaking experience at major developer conferences with focus on practical implementation topics.
  • Experience with cloud-native development patterns and modern development workflows.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
