Manager, Developer Experience, AWS Developer Experience

About the role

AWS Developer Experience is seeking a Manager to lead a team of developer advocates. The team focuses on how millions of developers interact with and utilize AWS. The Manager will oversee strategies for engaging with developers, understanding their needs, and bringing those insights back to service teams. They will work across marketing, product, and engineering to ensure the developer voice shapes AWS's roadmap and that its products meet the needs of developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to engage with developers, understand their needs, and bring valuable insights back to service teams.
• Collaborate with service teams, marketing, and solutions architects to shape the role of developer relations in driving innovation and adoption of AWS services.
• Define strategy to deliver impactful and relevant experiences to the developer community.
• Build strong relationships and effectively communicate the voice of the developer to drive continuous improvement and exceptional developer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of team leadership experience
• Experience building developer-facing content or programs
