Desktop Support IV
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support IV professional to provide Tier 3 technical support in a large-scale enterprise environment supporting thousands of users and devices. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to balance project work with daily support activities, and excellent customer communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 support and maintenance for workstation hardware and software
- Support and maintain Windows operating systems for end-user workstations
- Troubleshoot and support peripheral devices, including printers and scanners
- Manage incidents and service requests while meeting service expectations
- Serve as a technical resource on IT projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with a team of technicians while also working independently
- Deliver professional written and verbal support to end users
Requirements
- 5+ years of Tier 3 desktop support experience
- 5+ years supporting and maintaining workstation operating systems
- 5+ years of incident and service request management experience
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical support experience with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting workstation hardware and software in a large enterprise environment
Preferred Experience
- 2-5+ years supporting printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
- Experience assisting with IT projects and implementations
- PowerShell scripting
- Active Directory administration
- Windows 11 support and troubleshooting
Skills
- Application packaging and deployment using tools such as SCCM, Ivanti, or similar solutions
- Operating system imaging and deployment
- Patch management
- Group Policy (GPO) administration
- Google Workspace support
- Learning Management System (LMS) support
Technical Environment

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
