Design Sales Consultant Flexible Schedule Tulsa Metro
About the role
Up Closets of Tulsa designs and installs custom closet and storage systems for homeowners across the Tulsa metro. We’re hiring one or two design consultants to run in-home consultations we book for you — no cold calling, no door knocking, ever.
Responsibilities
- Meet homeowners at pre-booked, pre-qualified appointments (Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Owasso, Jenks, Bixby)
- Design their space using our CAD software — we train you on it
- Present the design, price it, and close the sale
- Hand off to our install team and keep the customer happy through completion
How you get paid
- $400 average commission per closed sale — 10% of the job, average ticket ~$4,000
- $520+ (13%) on sales you source yourself — your network, your referrals
- Bigger jobs pay more. No cap.
- 1099 independent contractor, straight commission, paid on closed-and-installed jobs
The schedule
You take the appointments that fit your calendar. This works well alongside real estate, another sales role, or family commitments. Our lead flow is growing month over month — consultants who start now get first pick as volume scales.
Qualifications
- Have B2C sales experience — retail, furniture, real estate, home services, anything where you closed
- Are comfortable learning software and using it in the field
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Bonus: Any background in interior design, space planning, or remodeling.
