Design Consultant / Sales
About the role
Closets by Design is hiring Designers/Sales Consultants to help others organize their home. Due to extended growth, they are looking for full‑time Design Consultants in the Sales or Interior Design industry. Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more. Their values include serving others, being a problem solver, and trusting the process. The position offers a hybrid‑remote schedule with flexible hours, 12‑week paid sales training and ongoing mentorship, pre‑set appointments with new and repeat clients, the ability to work close to home, and an open‑door policy with sales managers.
Responsibilities
- Begin the sales day with an appointment scheduled close to home.
- Build rapport with the customer to understand their organizational needs.
- Walk through the home to assess opportunities.
