About the role
The Design Build Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Marysville, OH. This role is responsible for meeting with residential and commercial clients to understand their outdoor living needs, presenting design-build solutions, and guiding clients through the entire sales process from initial consultation to project completion.
Responsibilities
- Conducting site visits
- Developing project proposals and estimates
- Collaborating with landscape designers and production teams
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM
- Supporting marketing initiatives such as participation in events or open houses
- Working closely with operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s quality standards
Qualifications
- Sales and client relationship skills, including consultative selling, prospecting, and managing a project pipeline
- Knowledge of landscape design/build concepts, basic site planning, and familiarity with outdoor construction materials and processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including active listening, clear written proposals, and confident in-person and phone communication
- Organizational and project coordination skills, such as time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfort working on-site in varying outdoor conditions and collaborating with design, installation, and maintenance teams
- Basic computer proficiency, including CRM usage, email, and office productivity tools; experience with design software is a plus
- Prior experience in landscape, construction, or home improvement sales is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
