Deputy Chief Engineer Textile Jobs Karachi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering operations, plant maintenance, utilities management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a textile manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance operations to maximize plant efficiency.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Supervise textile machinery, utility systems, boilers, compressors, chillers, HVAC, generators, pumps, and related equipment.
• Plan engineering projects, shutdowns, and maintenance schedules.
• Implement TPM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, FMEA, and RCM practices.
• Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, ISO, and statutory engineering standards.
• Lead and mentor the engineering and maintenance team.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (PEC Registered).
• 10–12 years of experience in a textile manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of textile machinery, utilities, industrial maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, boilers, and automation.
• Experience with CMMS, CAPEX planning, equipment commissioning, and vendor management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay

PKR 600,000–800,000 per month.
