Deposit Support Specialist - Full-Time

Responsibilities
- Provides support to other departments related to deposit products and services.
- Review and verify customer initiated monetary transfers > $100K for fraud detection.
- Establish and maintain system records for all safe deposit box rentals.
- Review and verify signatures on all checks drawn on customer accounts > $50K for fraud detection.
- Apply established procedures to decide whether to pay or return debit transactions that overdraw customer accounts.
- Follow procedures to make determination on posting or retuning debit transactions that overdraw deposit accounts.
- Research and resolve debits and credits that fail to post to customer accounts.
- Reconcile daily, research and identify variances between general ledger and physical cash for all branch offices.
- Review all closed deposit accounts for ancillary required actions (deactivate debit cards; suspend mobile deposit functionality, etc.) pursuant to department procedure.
- Generate correspondence to advise customers when closing zero balance accounts.
- Detect and report suspicious activities to fraud analyst (Bank Secrecy Act program) for further resolution.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and/or one to three years related experience and/or training.
- May accept equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Banking knowledge to assist in identification of fraudulent transactions and/or violations to regulatory compliance.

Pay
This is a regular full-time hourly non-exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.

This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location on 17th Avenue in Wausau, WI.
