About the role
As a Deployment Specialist at Modular Power Solutions (MPS), you will coordinate the delivery, assembly, and inspection of company products. This role involves working with some autonomy while still receiving significant supervision. You’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders and contribute to high-profile projects across the nation.
Responsibilities
- Travel to jobsites during product delivery to ensure smooth logistics and guide installation.
- Coordinate the release of MPS products to customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including truck drivers, site construction teams, subcontractors, and employees.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure safe and high-quality work.
- Review drawings before delivery to confirm the logistical plan is feasible.
- Assist in resolving construction problems related to delivery and field issues.
- Adapt to changing conditions and schedules throughout project lifecycles.
- Perform incoming equipment receiving inspections.
- Review drawings and submittals to accurately document inspection data.
- Document any issues arising during the inspection process.
- Support and assist the MPS freight team.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical construction, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience and/or project coordination (can include a combination of education, training, and relevant experience).
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Familiarity with team-building techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time pressure while adapting to changing priorities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
- Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, vendors, clients, and others.
- Computer, filing, and 10-key skills required.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Travel
Up to 75% travel to job sites across the U.S. as needed.
Working Conditions
- General office environment: sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending.
- Work is primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions (e.g., fluorescent lighting, air conditioning).
- Noise levels range from low to medium in the office; can be loud on jobsites.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
