Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Set goals and delegate tasks to teams
• Follow up and report results to team and other managers
• Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
• Ensure food is always safe
• Control food costs
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
• Hire and train qualified crew members
• Schedule crew members to meet sales and profit goals
• Engage employees through motivation and recognition
• Lead shifts to ensure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Set goals and delegate tasks to teams
• Follow up and report results to team and other managers

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with flexible schedule
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
