Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant, ensuring a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience. The responsibilities vary based on the department managed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to the team and other managers.
• Lead the Guest Service Department to deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
• Lead the Kitchen Department to ensure high-quality food delivery, food safety, food cost control, and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
• Lead the People Department to hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, and support their development and motivation.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Qualifications

Competitive starting pay range of $16.50-$22 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including:
