Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring high-quality service and promotion execution.
• Oversee the Kitchen Department, ensuring food quality, safety, and cost control.
• Manage the People Department, recruiting, training, and scheduling staff to meet sales and profit goals.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun while working.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
