Responsibilities
- Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
- Set goals and delegate tasks to your teams
- Follow up and report results back to your team and other managers
- Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
- Ensure food is always safe
- Control food costs
- Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
- Hire qualified crew members
- Train crew members well
- Schedule crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
- Engage employees through motivation and recognition
- Ensure the restaurant delivers a memorable customer experience
- Do well with sales promotions
- Train service staff in service procedures
- Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service
