Department Manager
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
- Manage sales promotions and ensure service staff are trained in service procedures.
- Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service.
- Ensure food is always safe and food costs are controlled.
- Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
- Hire, train, and schedule crew to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
- Support Crew in getting off to a good start and motivate them throughout their time working there.
Qualifications
Positive team player with flexible schedules and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment. Previous managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
