Department Manager

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned stores.

Qualifications

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, which may include:

• Managing assigned Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results.

Responsibilities

The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities may include:

• Making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
• Ensuring sales promotions are done well.
• Training service staff in service procedures.
• Organizing the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service.

The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities may include:

• Making sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast.
• Maintaining food safety standards.
• Controlling food costs.
• Training kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items on the menu.

The People Department Manager’s responsibilities may include:

• Hiring qualified crew members.
• Training them well.
• Scheduling them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
• Helping Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant.
• Motivating Crew throughout their time working there.
