Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Set goals and delegate tasks to teams
• Follow up and report results
• Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
• Ensure food is always safe
• Control food costs
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
• Hire and train qualified crew members
• Engage employees through motivation and recognition
• Ensure memorable customer experiences
• Manage sales promotions
• Train service staff in service procedures
• Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for best service

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a management capacity preferred.
