Department Manager
About the Role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, with responsibilities that may include managing assigned systems (e.g., Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to their teams and other managers.
- Guest Service Department Manager: Ensures Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, executes sales promotions, trains service staff in procedures, and organizes Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Kitchen Department Manager: Ensures the restaurant delivers high-quality food quickly and safely, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
- People Department Manager: Hires qualified crew, trains and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, ensures a positive start for new employees, and motivates and recognizes staff.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our franchise-owned and operated restaurants.
