Department Manager

Requirements

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments, which may include managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results.

The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities may include overseeing the delivery of a great customer experience, managing sales promotions, training service staff in procedures, and organizing the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.

The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities may include ensuring the restaurant provides high-quality food and service, maintaining food safety, controlling food costs, and training kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.

The People Department Manager’s responsibilities may include hiring and training qualified crew members, ensuring they are well-scheduled to meet sales and profit goals, and supporting their development and motivation throughout their tenure.

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
