About the role

This job posting is for a management position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas.

• Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure restaurant delivers great quality food, fast service, food safety, and controls food costs. Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.

• People Department Manager: Hire qualified crew, train them, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and support Crew throughout their time working there.

• Shift Manager: Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers. Perform tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Requirements

• Managerial Experience: Required, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.

• Positive Team Player: Flexible schedules, passionate about the fast-paced McDonald’s environment, and willing to have fun.

Qualifications

• Age: Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in F and operated restaurants.

Skills

• Leadership: Ability to lead shifts and manage multiple departments.

• Customer Service: Ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction for customers.

• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other managers and staff.

• Time Management: Efficiently manage daily tasks and meet departmental goals.

Pay Rate

Department Managers can make anywhere from $18.00 up to $28.00 per hour ($37,440 up to $58,420 yearly).
