About the Role
Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. But some managers also lead Departments. These managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.
Responsibilities
- Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, ensure food is always safe, control food costs, train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items on the menu.
- People Department Manager: Hire qualified crew, train them well, schedule them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals, ensure crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun and works in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned stores.
