Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will manage various aspects of restaurant operations including guest service, kitchen operations, and personnel management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Lead the Guest Service Department to deliver a great customer experience.
• Oversee sales promotions and ensure service staff are trained in procedures.
• Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
• Lead the Kitchen Department to ensure high-quality food delivery and food safety.
• Manage the People Department to hire, train, and schedule staff effectively.
• Support new employees and motivate existing staff throughout their tenure.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with work schedules.
• Age 18 or older.
