Department Manager
Requirements
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers have a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, which may include:
- Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions effectively, train service staff in procedures, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure quick, high-quality food delivery, maintain food safety, control food costs, and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
- People Department Manager: Hire and train qualified Crew, ensure they get off to a good start, and motivate them throughout their time working there.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team players with flexible schedules and the passion to work in the fast-paced McDonald's environment are sought. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be a manager in franchise-owned and operated restaurants.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment is crucial.
