Department Manager

About the role

The job involves leading shifts and departments in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The primary goal is to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Manage assigned departments such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Ensure all service staff are trained in service procedures and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality food and manage food costs in the Kitchen Department.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals while ensuring they are supported and motivated.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Flexible schedule and the passion to work in the McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.
