Department Manager $12 hourly pay

About the role

Our corporate-owned and franchise restaurants have over 50 procedures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Crew Members, customers, and the community. Responsibilities

• Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Set goals and delegate tasks to your teams
• Follow up and report results back to your team and other managers
• Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
• Ensure food is always safe
• Control food costs
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
• Hire qualified crew members
• Train crew members well
• Schedule crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
• Engage employees through motivation and recognition
• Ensure the restaurant delivers a memorable customer experience
• Ensure sales promotions are done well
• Train service staff in service procedures
• Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service

Requirements

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We're looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast-paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.
