About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. As a manager, you will ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience, manage staff training, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to your team and other managers.
- Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
- Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast, ensuring food is always safe and food cost is controlled.
- Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items on the menu.
- Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
- Support new employees and motivate them throughout their time working at the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role.
