Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records
• Perform X-ray procedures
• Prepare instruments
• Assist with periodontal care and orthodontics
• Manage infection control protocols
• Patient education
• Support orthodontic procedures
• Ensure compliance with health standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification
• Registered dental assistant or EFDA certification
• Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred, with potential differential pay

Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Effective patient interaction
• Proficiency with electronic records and Microsoft Office
• Ability to assist in clinical procedures including four-handed assisting and sedation support
