Responsibilities
- Maintain patient records
- Perform X-rays
- Auxiliary during exams
- Prepare instruments
- Conduct preventative periodontal treatments
- Assist with orthodontics
- Ensure infection control
- Educate patients on oral hygiene
- Monitor safety protocols
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Registration as a Dental Assistant or EFDA
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and proficiency with dental software
- Strong manual dexterity, professionalism, and effective communication
