About the role

The Relief position at Open Sky Community Services offers an opportunity to gain experience and make a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual challenges through safe, nurturing homes that encourage participation in community life.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Implement activities designed to foster personal relationships and valued roles in the community.
• Ensure daily living needs are met and maintain a safe yet inspiring environment.
• Provide direct support care to enhance the well-being of those we serve.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliability and willingness to learn new opportunities.

Skills

Open Sky seeks candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for community engagement, and a commitment to supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual challenges. Experience in mental health or related fields is preferred but not required.
