DC Supervisor - Order Processing

About the Role

Direct the day-to-day outbound operations of the order processing department within a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the order processing department.
• Ensure department compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations managers and DC managers to maintain payroll figures, budgeting, and productivity.
• Complete and deliver team member evaluations in a timely manner.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to maintain high productivity and morale.
• Work with Operations and DC managers to establish and execute annual department goals.
• Partner with the Human Resources Supervisor and Operations Manager on recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
• Assist in planning and preparing the annual capital expenditure budget.
• Obtain approval from the DC manager for any department expenditures.
• Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or logistics certification.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Completion of the O’Reilly supervisor training program.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
