DC Assistant Supervisor - Order Processing
Pay
Pay Range: $58,080.00 - $87,120.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Order Processing Supervisor with the following job duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the order processing department.
- Aid in ensuring the department complies with company operations, policies, and procedures daily.
- Collaborate with operations managers and DC managers to manage payroll figures, budgets, productivity, etc.
- Write and deliver team member evaluations in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance throughout the department to maintain productivity and morale.
- Work with the Operations and DC manager to set annual goals and the plan to achieve these goals.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Supervisor and the Operations Manager to ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
- Aid the operations and DC managers in preparing annual capital expenditure listings for budgeting purposes.
- Work with the DC manager for approval on any expenditures for the department.
- Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
Skills/Education/Experience
- Desired: College degree or logistics certification
- 2+ years previous experience in a supervisor role
- Advanced computer skills
- Completion of the O'Reilly supervisor training program
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
