Daycare/ Respite provider

We are seeking a compassionate childcare provider to support a 3-year-old girl with special needs and epilepsy in the Appleton/Menasha, WI area.

Schedule

• Daycare support: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (backup applicant needed)
• Respite care: flexible, no set schedule; available weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

Respite Care

• Discuss daily activities with the family
• Provide emotional support as needed
• Assist with in-home and community outings
• Help with toileting, dressing, nap times, and snack time

Daycare Support

• Meet the parent at the daycare facility
• Provide 1:1 support during group activities
• Assist the child with daycare activities
• Ensure safety and supervision
• Help with toileting, dressing, and snack time

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a Wisconsin background check
• Sweet, kind, caring, and friendly demeanor
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Commitment to providing care for children with special needs
• High school students and full-time college students are welcome to apply

Pay

$17.97 per hour
