Primary Responsibility

The primary responsibility of the Database Marketing Coordinator is to support the Casino Marketing team in maintaining the data warehouse and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of casino offers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is also preferred.
  • Build email campaigns in the Email Service Provider (HubSpot, Optx, or Ipost).
  • Including template setup, content population, and link configuration.
  • Perform pre-send reviews of all emails including checking the art, proofing the data, verifying links, getting approvals on all aspects of any email prior to sending.
  • Conduct sends and provides reporting on an ongoing basis to departments who are requesting information to be deployed via eblast.
  • Create and maintain direct offer calendars where new jobs can be added as needed to make sure all necessary items are there prior to the date of deployment.
  • Proofs direct offers in all forms including direct offer lists, variable data proofs, artwork, etc. to help maintain offer accuracy and appropriate communication with our guests.
  • Works with internal departments to assist them with messages sent via email and direct mail.
  • Pulls, proofs, updates, finalizes direct offer data lists for final deployment of offers/messages.
  • Works with external vendors to complete tasks related to Database Marketing including but not limited to printers, email service providers, agencies, etc.
  • Team Member and Customer Communication as needed to explain changes to offers or communicate details of offers that have been deployed to guests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Support the proofing and offer auditing process for email and direct mail campaigns.
  • Ensure that data is run and reviewed before and after uploading to the casino system.
  • Monitor and respond to internal emails sent to the department in a timely manner.
  • Able to troubleshoot areas, place service calls and keep management informed of critical situations.
  • Maintain office integrity. Complete production and special assignments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or (GED).
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in related field or combination of experience and education.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems or Casino Player Tracking systems preferred.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

  • The employee is occasionally required to use upper extremities, including but not limited to, hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • They may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, bend, push, pull, twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and/or push, pull up to 50 pounds.
  • The employee is occasionally required use repetitive movements to complete tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Employee may be occasionally required to work in low light conditions and may be exposed to loud noise for extended periods.

  • Multiple locations.
  • Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours.
  • Some enterprises are gaming facilities.
  • Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment.
  • Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.
  • Indian Preference Act
  • The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians has a resolution on file with Human Resources to ensure that Indian Preference will be adhered to in the following order in accordance with IPA: Tribal Members Other Native Americans All other ethnic groups.
